Kyle Schoenthaler

President / CEO

Kyle started working for The Tred Shed Tire Pros when he was still in Junior High. He has worked every position at the shop from Clean Up Boy, to Tire Installer, Lube Technician, Counter Sales Person and Service Manager, and General Manager. In 2000, he went to college and worked at another Tire and Automotive shop for a couple of years before returning to the family business. In April of 2017 he purchased the business from his parents. He is an ASE Certified Service Consultant, Michelin Product Expert, SEMA Certified Wheel and Tire Specialist and holds many other certifications. He is also a long time member of the Western Tire Pros Dealer Council. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and his passion is Offshore Fishing and the Dallas Cowboys. He is also a big MMA fan. Kyle is onsite almost all of the time to help you with all of your automotive needs.

Mike Holt


Mike has been in the tire and automotive business for 33 years including owning his own business for over 22 years. He followed his father into the tire industry. His father sold some of the first Michelin tires in the United states. He learned the industry from the ground up starting as a tire installer working for his father eventually purchasing a business. He has seen a lot of changes in the automotive industry over the years and has the experience to serve all of your tire and automotive needs. While in the industry he has served on several industry-wide boards including the California and National Tire Dealers Boards of Directors. Mike has also served on the tire pros dealer council for the State of California. Mike moved his family to the delta area in 2004 and has been working for the Tred Shed since that time. Mike enjoys camping, running and the warm summers for barbecuing with the family. Mike has also served his community for many years as a member of Lion's Clubs International and served as both president of his local club and zone chairman. He also is a life member of the Lion's Eye Foundation of California and Nevada. Mike has spend his life gaining the experience to serve you for all your tire, wheel and automotive needs

Austin Schoenthaler


Austin had wanted to work at the Tred Shed since he could remember. Now living in Brentwood, Austin was born in Walnut Creek, CA in 1996 and has lived in the Bay Area his whole life. One week after graduating De La Salle high school in 2015, Austin began working full time as a Tire Technician for the Tred Shed. From a Tire Tech he moved to become the shop boy and was responsible for everything ranging from oil changes, to picking up parts and taking customers home. Today you can find Austin at the counter working with Mike, Dave, and his cousin Kyle. Some of Austins' favorite past-times include traveling, spending time outdoors, building and driving cars, bikes, motorcycles - really anything with two wheels.

Jerry Fletcher, Jr.


Jerry Fletcher, Jr. joined the Tred Shed Team right after graduating from Pittsburg High School. He started out in the shop changing tires, changing oil, and has moved up to Tire Department Manager. You'll also see him up at the front counter helping customers with all their vehicle needs. Prior to becoming part of the Tred Shed Team, Jerry worked for Punkins restaurant. He worked there and mastered many positions for Carl and Vicki. It was a fun four years - all while attending high school Jerry has been involved with cars, trucks, motorcycles, bikes, and anything with wheels since he could crawl! He loves all outdoor activities and enjoys playing around with his four dogs - Buddy, Wally, Max and Baby Bear.

Craig Schoenthaler


Craig and his father opened The Tred Shed in 1982. Craig has been in the tire business for over 25 years, specializing in exceptional customer service. He is actively involved throughout the industry, serving as Tire Pros Dealer Council President from 2000-2004, and on the Board of Directors of the California Tire Dealers & Re-treaders Association. He is an active member of the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Pittsburg Yacht Club. In 2003 Craig received Pittsburg’s prestigious “Businessman of the Year” award. Craig has 5 kids who all live between the Bay Area and Sacramento. In their spare time, Craig and his wife Vicki enjoy boating on the Delta or traveling around in their motor home. He sold the business to Kyle in April of 2017.

Vicki Schoenthaler


Vicki joined the Tred Shed team about 15 years ago after the kids were all in school. She does all of the office work and fills in at the counter when necessary. She is an active member of the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce, the Pittsburg Yacht Club, and the former President of the Diablo Valley Mothers of Twins Club. Also known as the Tiregal, Vicki enjoys sewing, crafting, and traveling when not at The Tred Shed. Tiregal and Tredguy have been married over 30 years and are now enjoying their empty nest at the Pittsburg Marina.
